Fall 2007- "A Day at the Beach" juried into the American Academy of Equine Art Fall Show

2007 Fall Arts Festival Jackson Hole, Wyoming , Quick Draw Artist, Reception to follow at Galleries West

May 2007 - D. Lee creates the highest selling piece of Quickdraw art ever auctioned at the Phippen Memorial Art Show and Auction.

2007 - Masters of Foxhounds Association of North America 
Centennial Anniversary traveling art exhibit.

2007 - Invited artist to paint "Scenes of Gainsborough" at Gainsborough Farm, Versailles, Kentucky.  To be auctioned off summer of 2007. www.woodfordhumanesociety.org  "Freedom Fest"

D. Lee's 11X14 oils "Seasoned" and "Last Light" have been juried into the prestigious MFHA traveling art exhibit sponsored by Crossgate Gallery in Lexington, KY.  

D. Lee's art will join 200 juried works in a traveling exhibit appearing at 12 cities throughout the US and Canada. The exhibit will open in January in New York city at the annual MFHA Hunt Ball.

2006 - Thoroughbred Charities of America, Lexington, KY.
D. Lee has donated an oil titled "Peek" to the TCA 17th annual Select Stallion Season & Art Auction. The event is to be held December 1, 2006 at Keeneland in Lexington, KY. Please go to the TCA's site for bidding information.


The TCA's Mission Statement:
"To provide a better life for Thoroughbreds, both during and after their racing careers by supporting retirement, rescue and research and by helping the people who work with them."

2006 - This is my sixth year in the Phippen Show, stop by Booth 79!
I will be doing the Quick Draw also.


2005 Quick Draw Artist at the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, September 17, followed by a reception at Galleries West.  Come join the fun!


Diana will be participating in the 2005 "Hidden in the Hills" Artist Studio Tour in November, Cave Creek, Arizona


D. Lee won the prestigious SouthwestArt Magazine "Artist to Watch" Award for the Best Body of Work at the 2005 Phippen Western Art Show!
D. Lee was honored with the Third Place award in Mixed Media at the 2003 Phippen Fine Art Show & Sale for The Ribbon, she has been participating in this show for five years.

Diana participated in the Phippen "Quick Draw" events on both Saturday and Sunday. The artists have 45 minutes to complete a work of art starting with a clean canvas. The artwork is then presented for sale by public auction to the audience that enjoyed seeing the art created. Diana's work sold in the top five items on both days.

 


D. Lee has been accepted as a member of The Society Of Animal Artists. The society was formed in 1960 to promote the display and production of the finest animal based art possible.
